What does it mean for educators to reach students where they are, and why is this practice important? What are the benefits of this investment? How can we use our gifts, to help students figure out their own? People have complimented me on the way that I empower my children. I tell them that the trick is that I make it my priority to LEARN them, and I reciprocate by allowing them to LEARN me! Through the practice of being vulnerable, open, and honest, I receive vulnerability, openness, and honesty return. In this interactive workshop, we will discuss different ways of building relationships and gaining respect from our students, so that we can differentiate learning and meet them where they are!
