Decoding multisyllable words can be difficult for some students. In this session we will first focus on learning to recognize the pattern and make a gesture to identify syllable types. Next, we will focus on reading the syllable type. The third and last step is practice applying syllable recognition and vowel sound pronunciation to read two-syllable words.
